About Kintch
Kintch is built by one person โ Joe โ who reads every note you send. The solo-dev story is the whole point of an app this personal: one person who cares about staying in touch built the tool that helps you be that person for the people you love.
Kintch will never scrape your contacts, read your messages, or score your relationships. That's the creepy part of personal-CRM apps, and it's exactly what Kintch is built against. Everything works offline, on your device. Sync is optional, premium, and encrypted so no one โ not even Joe โ can read it.
Frequently asked
Does Kintch read my messages or call history?
Never. Logging is always something you do by hand. Kintch has no access to your messages, calls, or emails โ that's a promise, and it's why the app asks for so little.
Do my contacts get uploaded?
No. When you import contacts, they're copied into Kintch on your device and never leave it. Premium sync uploads only end-to-end-encrypted data that even the developer can't read.
Is there a free version?
Yes. Free keeps up to 10 people with every feature โ cadences, reminders, notes, dates, reach-out actions, and your Year in Kintch. Premium adds unlimited people, custom circles, encrypted sync, and removes house ads.
What happens if I lose my sync recovery phrase?
Because sync is zero-knowledge, your recovery phrase is the only key. Lose it and the encrypted backup can't be recovered โ so save it somewhere safe. Your on-device data is untouched either way.
